1. Information We Collect

When you use Sonix, we collect information you provide directly: your email address and display name when you create an account. We also collect usage data such as the number of characters processed and generation history to manage your account limits.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve the Sonix service, manage your account and usage limits, send transactional communications, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Text and Audio Processing

Text you submit for speech synthesis is transmitted securely to our TTS processing engine (RunPod Serverless) and is not stored on our servers after your audio is returned. Generated audio is temporarily held in memory for download and is not permanently stored without your explicit action.

4. Data Storage

Account data (email, display name, usage stats) is stored in Google Firebase Firestore, which is protected by Firebase security rules that prevent unauthorized access. Data is stored in accordance with Google Cloud's security standards.

5. Cookies

We use a single HttpOnly, Secure session cookie to maintain your authenticated session. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at hello@makelabs.in. We will respond within 30 days.
